Spriha (Spree-ha, they/she) is a Limited Licensed Social Worker and obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Michigan State University. Spriha works from an eclectic, client-centered, and strengths-based approach that makes room for every part of oneself to honor what makes us human and whole. By using aspects of Internal Family Systems, CPT, existential therapy, DBT, and other expressive therapy modalities such as art therapy, somatic therapy, and play therapy, Spriha’s therapeutic goal is to help clients better understand their own thoughts, actions, and behavior patterns.
Education & Experience
Spriha received her bachelor’s in psychology, during which they worked within childcare and education settings. During her master’s, she worked within the Ingham County Health Department and the Lansing School District. Spriha has worked with a diverse range of individuals, from children as young as five to family units to adults, doing individual and group sessions. Spriha’s clinical experience has encompassed supporting clients of all ages through cultural adjustment, suicidality/self-harm, and identity development. She is passionate about finding the right, custom therapeutic fit for each and every client.
