Treatment Philosophy & Focus
My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness practices. I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs, preferences, and cultural background, with a strong emphasis on empathy, authenticity, and respect. I am committed to fostering resilience, promoting self-awareness, and supporting clients in living more connected and fulfilling lives. I work with people ages 15 to 115 within multiple populations including people with acquired brain injuries, people who have experienced PTSD and anyone needing support with anger, frustration, sleep disturbances, depression or anxiety. I have a certification as a CCCBT (Clinically Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist) and as a CFCIS (Certified Forensic Crisis Intervention Specialist).
Education & Experience
I have a masters degree in clinical behavioral psychology from Eastern Michigan University. Most of my experience has been helping people with acquired brain injuries that have presented with many challenges including anger management, frustration tolerance, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.
