Shelby specifically utilizes cognitive-behavioral modalities, play therapy, art therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and EMDR interventions. Shelby meets her clients where they are at in every session and focuses on building trust and rapport with her clients. Shelby has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Shelby earned her bachelor’s from Bowling Green State University and her master’s from Central Michigan University. Shelby has spent time as a practicum clinician within community mental health services and mental health specialist positions within the community schools 31N program. Shelby has a passion for working with all ages and has most experience working with children and adolescents.
