Morgan is a limited licensed social worker who has provided counseling services to children, adolescents, and young adults with a focus on academic performance and needs. She works extensively identifying the issues, trauma recovery, and coping with behavioral issues and stress.

Treatment Philosophy & Focus

Morgan believes that there is great relief and power for the client in telling their story with children, teens and young adults. Morgan encourages and welcomes that release which allows the client to experience their emotions safely and with support. Morgan consistently incorporates a strengths-based focus and unconditional positive regard to empower clients to use their skills. This strategy helps patients move forward with their personal counseling goals. In terms of working with children and adolescents, she encourages small steps, play therapy, and sharing information with support systems such as families and school personnel where appropriate.

Her most frequently used treatment styles are play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
